Eligibility

Please answer all five questions before proceeding. If you answer No to any of these, you may not be eligible for this programme at this time. We will, try to point you towards other ways to increased your knowledge and skills in this area. Fields marked with * are required
Have you completed your core professional training? This course is open to qualified counsellors, psychotherapists, clinical or counselling psychologists, and medical practitioners.
Have you secured funding for the course? The fee is £3,800 (or equivalent in €), with a £500 deposit on acceptance and the balance paid in instalments.
Do you need to apply for a bursary?
The GSRD Diploma Bursary supports applicants who face barriers to accessing the training. It recognises four distinct forms of disadvantage and contribution: financial hardship, lived experience of GSRD communities, structural inequality, and professional vision. Applications are assessed transparently against these four criteria, with a maximum of 7 points available. The four highest-scoring applicants receive a bursary place. If you need a bursary, we will ask you to complete a form if you are offered a place, AFTER your interview.
Do you currently have at least three GSRD clients in ongoing therapy? The course has a strong clinical component and requires a stable flow of GSRD clients, regardless of presenting issues.
Are you able to attend all training dates — the three-day experiential and all eight module days? Dates are published on the Diploma page.
Each module day requires roughly a day of preparation time. Can you make that commitment?
