Lisa O’Connor is running a Training Needs Analysis for Pink Therapy. Lisa is a volunteer and postgraduate student, enrolled in a Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology.

This project will serve as part of an applied body of work for the stage two demonstration of skills, knowledge, and competencies, while also providing anonymised information on the training needs of therapists working with GSRD clients.

Lisa is a Registered Psychologist in Australia and has over 18 years’ experience working with diverse cultural groups, Gender, Sexual and Relational Diversities (GSRD) people, and organisations. Lisa’s clinical experience and interest is currently focused on organisational development, disaster recovery and protective strategies for work in pressured environments and diversity inclusive of GSRD communities.

Lisa has completed postgraduate studies in both Australia and the UK, including:

  • MSc in Organisational Psychology, Birkbeck College UK
  • Postgraduate and Graduate Diplomas in Psychology, Bond University and Sydney University
  • Participant in the first online cohort to complete a Postgraduate Diploma with Pink Therapy Diploma in GSRD Therapy
  • Advanced Training Program with Pink Therapy

This analysis will clarify gaps and training priorities for practitioners in this field.
