Accreditation & Reaccreditation - Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversities Therapist.

You have received this form because your Supervisee has applied for accreditation or reaccreditation with Pink Therapy as a Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversities Therapist. We hope they will have discussed their application with you and that you are able to offer your endorsement. Pink Therapy offers an accreditation scheme for qualified therapists working with gender, sex & relationship diversities (GSRD) clients. There are two categories of accreditation: Accredited Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversities Therapist (AGSRDT) and Advanced Accredited Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversities Therapist (AAGSRDT). Initial accreditation for both categories runs for three years, following which there is a reaccreditation procedure. Practitioners with AGSRDT accreditation may apply at any time to upgrade to AAGSRDT status. Please see explanatory notes below:
REQUIREMENTS
  • 30 hours training during the past five years
  • Reading and other media
  • 150 practice hours with a minimum of five therapy clients or groups during the past five years Personal statement of 500-1500 words
  • Supervisor’s endorsement
REQUIREMENTS
  • 120 hours CPD during the past five years consisting of: training, conferences, constructive participation or having made a significant contribution to the field [see below]
  • Reading and other media
  • 300 practice hours with a minimum of five clients, groups or supervisees during the past five years, or a 3000-word case study
  • Personal statement of 500-1500 words
  • Supervisor’s endorsement
REACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS (STANDARD OR ADVANCED)
  • 30 hours CPD during the past three years consisting of: training, conferences, constructive participation or other activities
  • Reading and other media
  • 25 practice hours with a minimum of five clients, groups or supervisees during the past three years
  • Personal statement of 500-1500 words
  • Supervisor’s endorsement
